Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer Technology
Where typical dynamic microphones use a single transducer, the Revonic cartridge design calls for two. Using two transducers enables acoustic signal processing, allowing Shure to optimize EQ inside of the microphone cartridge.
Wiring both transducers out-of-phase cancels mechanical vibration. This removes self-noise as a factor that needs to be balanced as part of the acoustic signature of the microphone cartridge.
