The Sontronics DrumPack and DrumPack Plus represent the easiest and most cost-effective ways of getting your hands on a set of our DM-series condenser mics that we designed specifically to get the very best results from drums.

The five-piece DrumPack includes our DM-1B for kick, DM-1S for snare and three DM-1T for tom tom plus four mic clips for the DM-1S and DM-1T, all packed securely in a rugged ABS flightcase that will keep your mics safe whether you’re recording live or in the studio. The seven-piece DrumPack Plus features all of the above plus a pair of our versatile STC-10 pencil condensers, which can be used for stereo overhead recording or for individual drums. The Sontronics DM-1B is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone originally designed for kick drum during a three-year project that also resulted in our DM-1S for snare and DM-1T for tom tom. Developed with the help of top producers, recording engineers and drummers, all three microphones have become must-have tools for anyone serious about capturing that perfect drum sound, whether for live performance or in the studio. Thanks to its incredible sensitivity and its ability to handle high sound pressure levels of up to 155dB, DM-1B delivers outstanding results on kick drum, capturing all the attack, resonance and energy like nothing you’ve heard before! DM-1B also sounds stunning when used with all kinds of bass instruments, from bass guitar cabinets and double bass to tenor sax and tuba.

DM-1S and DM-1T
The Sontronics DM-1S and DM-1T are your passport to drum sound perfection, guaranteeing incredible and unmatchable results from your snare and toms, whether you’re in the studio, at home or on the road. These mics will capture all the unmistakable characteristics of your drums, from the crack of the initial hit and the sizzle of your snare right through to the boomy resonance of your lowest tom tom. They also sound superb on other percussion instruments such as cajón, djembe, bongos, tabla, congas and more. Both mics feature a -10dB pad switch, making them capable of withstanding an impressive 135dB SPL, enough to cope with even the most heavy of hitters!
