Part of the Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) system, the Neumann MC 1 is a clip used to mount the SH 150 MCM gooseneck on the body of a violin, viola, mandolin, or similar instrument. The gooseneck attaches to the clip via a holder that rotates along one or two axes and locks in 45° increments to prevent cable twists and allow for precise and reliable positioning of the microphone over the instrument.
Easy to use, the MC 1 features a self-adjusting spring mechanism and a rubber coating that ensures reliable attachment without damaging the sensitive surfaces on the instrument.
