The O2 Dual-Arm Boom from Triad-Orbit features dual boom arms, great for stereo miking grand pianos, snare drum (top & bottom), body and neck of an acoustic guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals, choirs, big bands, orchestras, and more.
Each arm features a stainless steel ball swivel mechanism, offering a 360 x 220° range of motion. This allows for precise mic placement in a wide variety of recording applications. The booms also utilize industrial-grade clutches instead of knobs and thumbscrews to secure all points of adjustment on the shafts.
The O2 Dual-Arm Boom is also equipped with IO quick-change couplers to mate with IO-equipped Triad stands and hardware. This is great for quickly changing or moving microphones without having to unscrew anything.
